Theories are proven wrong everyday.

Yes, such as when the theory that cancer was caused from a lack of oxygen was disproven.  Or when the theory that alkalinity cured cancer was disproven.  Or when the claim that acids prevent oxygen from entering cells was disproven.  Oh wait, it was already known that acid is required to get oxygen to cells before that bogus "theory" was conceived.
