Oddly enough, recently I have significantly decreased my Vitamin C intake. Don't know why exactly, but perhaps at least partially due to my schedule however, I think mostly because I have reduced the concern I felt about decreasing Vitamin C! It helped me SO much in regaining my energy after a couple of months that I was concerned that I might lose it again if I reduced it. Apparently this is not the case. I am now taking only 1/2 of my 'BTL'. I coincidentally I feel reduced to about 8, then 6 grams. So far so good. I will work to decrease it to your recommended levels. Adrenals better> less worry> reduction in need for Vitamin C I think! The body knows a lot...! I just need to learn to listen to it more intently.
