Re: Asymptomatic Gall Stones as a root cause.

The alkaline diet and a diet to reduce the risk of gall stones and attacks is basically the same. While saying alkalinity got rid of my candida was premature, it got rid of my systemic problem and I can enjoy so many high fiber natural foods that contain starches and Sugar without the horrible reaction. I don't feel bad about saying gall stones could possibly be the reason why alkalinity was such a success for me...and why users like michael on here can post pics of strings of candida and a bunch of green stones. For my cleanse, the malic acid in apples was fine.

I had a clean ultrasound one month after an all out gall bladder attack. Maybe some biliary congestion was not visible. I read that gall stones are more caused by saturated fats from meats than the avocados and things. There are also cleanses that involve small amounts of the oil and lemon mix nightly. I read that adding olive oil to foods and the diet will help cleanse the bile ducts... and low fat diets cause a risk of gall stones. The important thing being, which type of fat. I only read this. I also read that fats from fruits (olive, avocado) are better than those from nuts for keeping things clean. I had been on a high bad fat diet after my attack in 2010 and didn't get another gallbladder attack, just more candida. I'm right there with you having had all you can eat fat, poor digestion, and no gall bladder attacks. Now I'm shedding stones with the cleanse and the careful alkaline diet that is also good for gall stones.

What's the best test for SIBO? Could Gallstones cause SIBO by rotting out the food with lack of bile? I don't have the floating issue...so I will stay focused on bile duct issues.
