A very good read on urine therapy is "Your Own Perfect Medicine" by
Martha Christy. If I remember right she drank no more than a tablespoon of
her own urine per day and had spectacular results. (This book is way
overpriced so you might look and see if your local library has it.)
What I found for myself is that I originally started with a teaspoon a day
and over a period of a couple of weeks worked up to a cup or more per day.
I discovered that the longer I used UT the less "strong" tasting that
it became. In fact there are times it is very mild and actually has a
pleasant taste to it.
One of the causes of the strong taste is that you are more than likely
dehydrated so other than your urine drink plenty of liquids with water being the
best for getting rid of the taste you don't like. Another thing that
affects the taste is the type of foods you are eating. If you eating
sweets or drinking alcohol, quit those for a few days and that will reduce the
strong taste. In fact, I can tell by the taste of my urine if I'm eating
properly.
