Oh that.. Well said and very true. All we can do is live life on our terms for what little time we may have left. And try to comfort and uplift those that are also scared S---less! But there's always hope.

Remember that there's over 200 billion planets the size of ours or larger in our smallish galaxy alone. Our earth is like a drop of water in the scheme of things so if you believe in re-incarnation (which I happen to) take heart in realizing we just happen to be in a terrible neighborhood at the moment cosmically speaking.

But after you've prepared for an uncertain future as best you can, withdraw into the rabbit hole of the spirit. That's one of the many unique gifts of our human "being" or incarnation.

And Buddhist-ly speaking our Dharma lies in being responsible for the mess here and doing what we can to address the problems we find - but with detachment from the fruits of our labor. Living in wholeness, compassion, and within our (real/spiritual) selves.
