I think Buddhism is trying to say what Jesus tried to say, but fearful men changed it, that this is an illusion. We are not of this world. We are ETs like J and B dreaming this.

They had pain but didn't suffer because they understood it's not real. I know this is true in my mind, but my emotions still get caught up in the drama and I suffer until I remember I'm the observer, and even then I still feel the pain.

I have a problem with people saying we create our own reality- the happy folks who think they can keep the pendulum up forever, the non-duality religions like ACIM.
