Infection and Pain in Ear and Face

Hi,

I am a previous poster on CZ. I am now in Vientiane, Laos, traveling, and healing from some kind of exposure in CA.

Immune system's been messed up, and that may be why I recently got an ear infection in my left ear, which swelled up the next day. So did my left cheek near my ear. Doc says it's a 'bacteria infection of the pinna', and also a perforation in my eardrum.

Now, it's moved over towards my nose. It's puffy and painful to touch. I get dizzy. Also painful on the left side of my neck, which I think is along the lymph nodes.

I don't have insurance nor a lot of immediate access to remedies as far as I can tell, since this is really foreign. Thankfully I have a good Lao friend helping me out.

I've used the resources that we could find - the doctor twice, a Lao acupuncturist 3x, and had some gua sha (www.guasha.com)- skin scraping to release any poisons, along with neck massage.

Getting nervous, as it's just moving around. It feels like there is a parasite under the skin.

Doc wants me to go to the hospital in Thailand for IV Antibiotics . I really don't want to go that route.

Anyone have any idea what is the best holistic route to go?
