"Every time I see a woman in a head scarf, I cringe inside. I don't care if some of them go along with it...it makes me cringe. The idea that it makes men respect them more is absurd. The they are so damn respected, why can't they drive without being stopped by the police, let alone whipped?"

The Saudi women have loads of money and take vacations, by themselves or with their husbands other wives, to Europe which is just a short distance away.  While there they live high, eating, drinking, wearing the most fashionable clothing and wearing high heals.  I know this because a guy I worked with many years ago spent five years in Saudi Arabia as a computer programmer and he too used to take European breaks.  On the way back from Europe in the airplane he would watch the women change back into their Saudi acceptable clothes and change out of their high heels while buying drinks from the bar.

If you think that is bad, whey do females in the United States of America earn 30% less on average, for the exact same work the men perform?  Even when we have laws that forbid that?

It is not just the Saudi's who have a lot to learn, it is Americans as well.
