Re: Who has recovered from Pyroluria and what can I expect?
Hello Finallyananswer,
I haven't been to curezone for some time so have just checked my mail box.
My Dr is in Sydney, Turramurra, she charges fairly normally, but is low on beside manner also. I guess doctors are doctors and if your natropath is knowledgeble and can order the mega dose vitamins then stick with him/her.
The urine test, as far as I know, is as good as it gets. Also pyrrole levels will change throughout the day and depending on stress and diet. If you have elevated pyrroles then you are using up too much Vit B6 and zinc. I guess symptoms will assist correct diagnosis also. When the dose is right you will feel better, and of course there could be other elements that need tweaking, I understand it is inherited/genetic, so if you have it, you have it and it will get worse under stress, I had just moved house when I was tested.
As yet I haven't found a document on how they prescribe the vitamin doses, but I could tell you what I am on and what helps me if that helps? I actually take one less pill than prescribed as I find it is enough to keep me balanced. I don't even recognise the person who wrote the post you responded to, I feel like a different person:-)
