An enema at home is not the same as a professionally done colonic, which is much higher and far more invasive. I personally am sure to get probiotics even with an enema, but if you find you are doing okay w/o them good for you. I would personally never get a colonic.
Also, what data do we have, really, to say that our probiotics are fine & dandy, or maybe even borderline low, or very low? Who knew until recently, for ex., that even things like low grade Depression can be due to low good gut flora?
Mho, why take a chance, so again I always have some acidoophilus yogurt & kefir with an enema.
