food and supplement companies are bought and sold over the years... changing formulations\ingredients etc. In addition, some companies do this formula/ingredient change on their own.

Some companies look to be going in a decent direction, and then, due to the sale of the company, economic concerns, along with other things to do with greed that compromise their values and moral obligations to human beings, we get crap food.

As a *consumer* one must remain vigilant - never, ever getting comfortable with a specific label or brand...

I make my own kefir, farmers cheese, and yogurt, from raw goats milk now, and have since about the time of this post due to my own concerns with the ever degrading quality of commercial products.
