Nature's Variety makes a frozen raw dog/cat food. My dog loves it, my cats not so much. They do like it if I make up raw for them or even cook for them. It comes in Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Bison, Beef and Venison. It is commercial dog food -- a very high grade and species specific. Hopefully your wife will approve of Nature's Variety.
