I love success stories! Though you were following protocol so not really surprised. :-) Seems like the story doesn't go so well for those that don't.
I'm going to pay for a hair analysis for my child every 4 months, but don't really want to go to the expense of it for myself.
I think I will do something similar. Since mercury is the most dangerous, will go DMSA per protocol for 6 months, then add in ALA for another 6+. When I hit a plateau with these then I will assume the mercury is clear and switch chelating agents to focus on lead, arsenic, aluminum, barium, etc.
