Re: do blood glucose levels increase or decrease during fast? (not diabetic)

It is normal that blood glucose levels will fall during a fast and remain at low levels throughout, and typically between 40 and 65; this will give a false reading of normal blood levels while eating, and surprise your Doctor.

Uric acid levels will increase to high levels, and also surprise your Doctor thinking you are susceptible to gout, but this is simply inaccurate.

Why would you need to have blood Sugar levels tested at this time?
