No ALA with high copper?


 Ok...I'm cunfused about ALA and high copper.   I found the following post, which seems to be from Andy Culter, which seems to indicate no ALA while copper is high.

If the copper is over 50 you have to consider the potential of copper
toxicity, which means no ALA for a while.

However, this is from Ann-Louise Gittlemans book

One of the most effective supplements I’ve found for helping individuals recover from copper overload is alpha lipoic acid.

If you have a moderate to severe case of copper overload and suspect sluggish liver function, try boosting your sulfur reserves with a daily dose of 50 to 150 milligrams of alpha lipoic acid,
