Re: AF + Hypothyroid = collagen loss?
Pretty cool...;-))) Really appreciate your material...
I'm here to remind people to demonstrate an objective attitude to what's promoted as optimal solutions, when there are often more dimensions to "just getting things out of the body". Disciplines like TCM and Ayurveda teach that there's a right time and a balanced approach to everything...I'm sure that your guide Theresa probably imparted some of this to you...
I'm really happy to hear that you're on the right road at least - there is nothing more liberating than the healing sensation...
Healing is very elusive for me, even though I've amassed a lot of knowledge and experience in a multi-disciplinary fashion. I especially know the complexity of copper homeostasis, which is not as simple as invoking dumps.
For example, as someone who is extremely copper toxic (hidden copper toxic) and copper deficient, ARL told me to take ~100mg zinc per day as well as other metabolic factoring vitamins/minerals etc. However, my experience has been that even just 5mg zinc per day is harmful for me. Unfortunately, mineral balancing is only part of the puzzle for me. I think that ARL can be completely wrong sometimes, even to the extent that it harms people quickly or over a long period of time. HTMA is not the be all and end all, I'm afraid, especially because it's been wrong for many around here - just look at some old posts confounding the ARL/Larry Wilson approach. Mineral balancing is not the whole picture when there are many influences to endocrine function etc. than minerals...But yeah, it's effective for some...
