this guy isnt a big pharma punk, Ray Peat, and the guy who wrote the Saturated fats book, are anything but Big Pharma officals, they rebel against the system.
The system tells us that Omega 3's are good for us, you hear it everywhere, you sir if anyone is working for the system.
This man obvoisly did his reserach, Ray Peat and other docotrs with this philosphy have helped thousands of people improve their lifes.
If the cottage cheese+flax is helping, its cus of the sulfer compunds in cottage cheese, or the cynadide like compound in raw flax is killing germs in your digestive tracts.
Also what happens is that when you eat the omega 3's the Prostaglandins which trigger antiinflamation and the such will be quickly rasied, even thought these PGs are harmful in the long run, they are rased for a short amount of time, giving the liver time to regrow, but the nature of PUFAs is to become quickly rancid in the body, destroying your cells en masse.
The PGs are only lasted for a few hours, then you need more fishoil eventually it would kill you if you ate enuf to keep your PGs raised. PUFAS are only stable in an environment that is very very cold and has high amounts of specialized antioxidants. The only reason PUFAS are in any living creature is becasue they help the creature not turn into a block of ice at cold temperures... were thinking seeds at winter and fish in the sea. It acts as antifreeze.
PUFAS suppress the thryoid increase estrogen increase endotoxin decrease progestereone pregenolone and co2. They are the archetypal pro-aging food. Its so sad that big pharma has tricked us all into believeing that fish oil is good for us. it gives us a short term relif from inflamtion via short lived PGS and immunotoxicity in some people, but even then eventualy so much PUFA builds up in the fat cells of body that it continues to degenerate, and in the long ter m, all your doing is shortening your lifespan.
If you actualy just look at the chemistry of flax oil and fish oil and pufas you will see that they all rancidize within days at room temperature. its a chemcal fact, you cant avoid it. at body temperture this happens even much quicker.
PUFAS=Rancid
Rancid= Oxidated Fats
Oxidated Fats = 27 times more dangerous than oxidated sugars
oxidtated fats = super free radicals
oxidated fats = suppression of co2 metabolism which is a potent antioxidant and source of health
forget about prostaglandins that right there is all you need to know about what your putting into your body, assuming the LA even makes it to EPA and DHA
like i said before if you have benefits its from a short term suppresion of inflamation and vasodilation caused by Prostaglandins, giving your body a chance to heal, there are much better compounds for helping your body with this,a nd they dont involve loading your body with rapidly oxidized superdangerous fats.
another possiblity is that there is achemcial unique to flax that is independent from PUFAS that helps people, or that there is a special compound in cottage cheese that helps people. either way, in the long run your going to ruin your health.
Trying to figure out whether something is good for your health or not by taking it is the stupist form of backyard chemistry possible.
If you took a heatlh food that had lots of cocaine in it, you would feel GREAT after eating it, and proabbly eat tons of it, eventuly your health woudl degenerate from cocanie use.
Estrogen gives you a buzz when you take it cus its exitatory, but estrogen is quite poisonous.
So if you feel good after taking fish oil, you should eat it by the gallon right??
