Re: My experience with iodine
"I'll take my B's in the morning instead and I'm going to cut the B-100 in half for now. See how that works out."
- if nothing else work, try to quit the B for a week, then start up with a 1/2 of the B 100. I have had great benefit of the Bs, but as soon as I take to much; palpitations and a weird feeling of not being able to settle down occur.
Borax; or boron supplement if you prefer; make your magnesium work better, activate vit D, kills candida + a whole lot of other benefits

" I can take 150 mg of
Lugol's in ACV with bicarb on an empty stomach no problemo"
Suggestion; Add some vit. C to the ACV instead, add a pinch of borax instead of bicarb; this will take the abrasiveness off the Lugols.
"When I get hyper, the area around my thyroid gets warm and feels "busy". I tried a few things on that, and I found that taking some extra selenium helps best. It calms it down."
The selenium helps the convertion from T3 to T4
Salt, real salt help most problems with
Iodine supplementation / detox
You may pulse the iodine; a couple of days off a week to give your thyroid and body a break.
I believe the lack of salt have caused some of your problems; hit the salt pot hard for a few days, have you read;
