Re: what happenned to me? - How much to drink?

Bleh, I had my entire response typed then closed the tab on accident.  Stupid computer, Stupid me.  Well, I hope you appreciate me taking double time to respond to you.  ;)  :)

Your body has many avenues of elimination via the skin, lungs, nasal cavities, etc.  Also during a fast, remember that your body is burning the least valuable material it has to supply the rest of your healthy tissue with the nourishment/energy they need and is selective in picking the least desirable tissues as a self defense mechanism to stave off starvation as long as possible.  So many toxins are being burned for fuel!  However, this doesn't make you feel very good.

On my last 2 fasts I drank only to thirst.  And this was usually 8-12 ounces a day and sometimes less.  This worked well for me.

You may want to look up and read some post by user Fonty here on curezone as he had several about drinking/not drinking during a fast.  Mighty Sun Tzu may also like to weigh in with his experiences, if he sees this, on drinking only to thirst' demand while fasting for the best results.

Here is a post by Chrisb1 that may help explain the matter for you.

Of course you can experiment for yourself.  Drink 8 glasses of water a day for a few days during your fast followed by a few of drinking only to thirst and back again if you like.  Note the level of toxins you're elimating when relieving yourself, I think you'll find that you're urinating more when drinking more (of course) but that there doesn't seem to be a high concentration of toxins leaving in the urine.  Also note that if you have more energy during the days that you are drinking more it is more than likely because your body isn't able to dig as deep into stored toxins and the fasting (resting) process is actually being slightly disrupted as a result of the extra fluids.  Either way, you will still be doing much benefit on your fast.

Good luck!  Take care!
