I know this is kinda an old post, curious to know if you made any headways cause I am kinda in a similar spot.
Switched over to the fast oxidizer diet, after years of sports and weight lifting my gains were really uneven and I had other health issues as well.
Since being on fast oxidizer diet weightlifting has maybe slightly improved. Hard to get enough calories without the carbs. I can say things have definitely not gotten worse in terms of athletics/training and generally my gut feels better on this diet, and I have much more normal hunger. Yogurt and Olive-Oil are my go-to's for calories but still hard to get enough.
