Thanks so much for all the info. Hopefully the supplements I've just started to take are a step in the right direction.
I've had my thyroid and adrenaline tested, and both check out. I do think my thyroid is probably a little messed up, though; I have a huge lack in thirst response, and I'm always cold. I think I have estrogen dominance due to very low progesterone, and I know that can effect the thyroid. I suffer from dysautonomia (dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system), so that can cause a slew of seemingly unrelated symptoms, including gastroparesis. I do have a gluten allergy (as well as many other food allergies ), and modify my diet accordingly.
I expect that poor health in general makes one more susceptible to parasitic infection. Do you have any thoughts on male fern root (whether it is effective or dangerous)?
