Yes, I had that same pattern of hair loss. I've always had thin hair, so it has been really sad for me. I confess, the hair loss continues for me at 2 years post, although not nearly as bad. Obviously it's because my hormones are still not quite right (although I've never had them tested). For me, the Bosley hair products (shampoo and scalp treatment) work 100% to stop the loss. I don't think it's a permanent solution, but it will help you keep your hair until the loss stops on its own. I notice if I stop using it, the hair loss resumes. If you buy it from bosley.com, it's very $$$, but it can be bought at hair salons for less I think. My friend does hair and she buys it for me at her cost. Nioxin also worked for me.
