Re: I need your help. I AM ready to change my life!
Good advice from Chiron so please take heed.
Re' your meds and Hypothyroidism.
Before the undertaking of a fast you will need to taper-down your meds gradually, but at the same time will need to establish whether
Iodine deficiency lies as the root cause, so a visit to your Doctors would be advisable to establish this.
If that is the cause, you will need to supplement with
Iodine for a while to regulate your thyroid so it can function correctly; only then would I personally undergo a water-only-fast to repair any structural impairments.
Diet, as Chiron has mentioned is absolutely paramount in any healing process and where the Nutritarian way of eating is by far the most effective and productive (in my opinion and experience).
Firstly I would change your diet (google nutritarian diet); establish the cause of your Hypothyroidism, and if discovered as the cause, supplement with iodine. Kelp is a rich source of this mineral and obtainable thru any health food outlet. You will need to supplement with at least 200 micrograms per day of iodine.
Bear in mind that a fast (a state of nutrition) is only as beneficial as the state of your food reserves and nutritional status at the outset of a fast, so by replenishing and optimizing your nutritional status beforehand, and gradually tapering off the medications, a fast will complete the job of healing and cleansing that your body is quietly craving for.
You will also discover that by optimizing your nutritional status, your anxieties will melt away; your mind and body will become rejuvenated and you will become the person you want to be; a person with a zest for life and an energy level to match.
