Re: New and having major problems with die off please help.
Hello:
I've been going through an extended detox and healing period over the last year (yup, year), and i feel sooooo much better than before. A lot of getting here was just learning, trial, error, and most importantly both patience and perseverance.
Initially while following dietary guidelines and doing parasite, bowel, and
Liver Cleanses nobody told me about die-off or the "healing crisis". I felt horrible. After about 1 week though I started feeling better each day (little by little 1 day at a time). I never had any nutritional guidance other than what I found on the internet & through trial and error.
My biggest problem was constipation... i was taking laxatives, bowel cleansing herbs, and stool softeners (not all at once) to ease the problem and it helped me feel alot better. I decided to stop taking EVERYTHING one day and decided as long as i eat healthy and drink lots of water my body knows what to do. I just at raw fruits, and raw vegetables (salads) and within a week not only my bowel problems but everything, i mean everything started getting better (again, just 1 day at a time). Mood, energy, skin, sleep, bowel movements, just all started getting better.
So in summary, the degree and severity of your die off will depend on how toxic or infested you are. I think herbs have their place but i became dependent on them... now i know, a simple clean diet and lots of clean water is the best cure. That's not to say herbs don't help, they have their place in moderation. Otherwise a clean & simple diet allows our body the ability to heal, which we can actually neutralize with too many medicines (even natural medicines). ]
Another key is listen to your body.... if it's tired, rest. Hungry, eat (healthy). I know the feeling of dragging myself to work while feeling toxic & sick so i sympathize. Some herbs that helped me at the time were the ones for colon cleansing, and also activated charcoal. The charcoal helped soak up toxic waste and the
Colon Cleanse helped flush them out. Remember to drink tons of water, more than the 8-10 glasses a day.
Hope this helps, hang in there!! It will get better.
