good info. chloramine ruined my life. back in 2005, my area of NorCalifornia added it. the reactions were slow and progressive, hard to pinpoint that it was coming from showering. It has since, changed my body chemistry, and has made my immune system highly inflammatory and volatile in general.

I have been seeking Chloramine removal, and have tried the following:
Various Carbon filters, ( including GAC , or centaur carbon): FAILED: the carbon removes chlorine, but ammonia residuals.
tried followup with softener to remove ammonia: FAILED
the ammonia was exchanged with another ion, but the new water had yellow coloration, and very irritating.
VItamin C shower filters, and tablets: FAILED, product was ammoniumhydroxide i believe, which is also very irritating.

Reverse Osmosis: FAILED, the ammonia deteroriated the membrane very quickly, giving way to marginal results.

Looking into: DE-ionization systems, or distillery.. but it looks like from your report distillation is no good either. Tweet
