Fluid around heart

Hi,
Does anyone know what could cause this? My friend's friend was hospitalized with fluid around his heart, they removed quite a bit but they have NO clue what it is from/caused it.

I don't know a thing about fluid around this organ other than congestive heart failure but it doesn't sound like this is it if they have no clue what it is from. If anyone knows, would appreciate input.

Ahhh....I found hypothyroidism can cause this...intarrresting....
