I don't know what is best.
But kidney issues could be very serious.
Anyway, taking D3 and going to the sun doesn't mean you get enough to have a correct Vit D3 level, so a blood check would be best to know exactly.
Ref range is between 50-80 ng/ml for the 25(OH)D levels.
The upper limite is the best.
