Artificial sweeteners just freak me out. I had aspartame once and it gave me numbness in my finger tips.

Aspartame (Equal, Nutrasweet) is a strong neurological poison due to the methanol released from its breakdown.  Methanol can cause blindness, mental changes, headaches, seizures and other neurological symptoms.  It is then metabolized in to the carcinogen formaldehyde.
