Re: MH-Iodine

MH, Yes I have read about Lugols. I was just picking up some juice at the store and was looking thru the supplements and saw the iodine and decided I probally need to supplement with it since my energy levels have been so low. I used to buy a spicy seaweed snack that was flavored with cayenne and sea salt. It was really good, but they are always running out of it! I just looked at the supplement bottle and the name is Liqui-Kelp and the ingredients are: Decoction of Atlantic Kelp AND Potassium Iodide to insure potency, so there you are. It's not pure kelp iodine. So much for that! I do know that you can get plenty of iodine from eating seaweed, so maybe I ought to stick with that route. I sure got a lot of energy from those two days that I was taking it before the anxiety kicked in! Maybe if I only took it every three days or so. One more question, my daughter ate the seaweed with me starting when she was three (she is now six) and she loves it. Do you think I should continue her on the seaweed or try to find some Lugols? She is indeed very bright, but gets frustrated easily when she doesn't succeed at something right away and is very hyper! Its hard for me to get her to settle down! Thanks for your answer!
