I empathize with you. My 29 year old daughter is a paranoid schizophrenic. It's heart wrenching. I'll say this with the utmost empathy for you . . . You can best help her by ENCOURAGING her to reach out and help herself.
The problem with schizophrenics is that they suspect everything and everyone is out harm them emotionally, sometimes physically. My own daughter won't let me help her and I'm a professional herbologist.
There's another principle that enters into your situation, too. That being . . . what I tell many people, "You're the well-meaning third party." Rarely, if ever, does it work out that your efforts actually produce results UNTIL the individual themselves reach out for help. You can't do that for them.
