Re: Tapeworms and disturbing discharge

Yeah that's exactly what I'm scared of... the problem is that I would fully expect ER docs to think I'm completely crazy, especially since most of them probably maintain the typical western med belief that parasites aren't common in our "clean" and wonderful country. Ha.
But I know I did have a small tape cyst in my wrist before and I've now had the worms for over a year so it's totally possible that someone is lurking in there. If I see a bigger something jump out I will go to the hospital for sure but since it's generally small (yet totally noticably abnormal), not some giant wormy thing hanging out I would hate to waste my time and money just to be called nuts... I'm actually going to have health insurance soon though so maybe when that clears I should look for an actual paristologist. Surely these type of experts would listen and have a way to test for the cyst, don't you think?
