I'm so glad if you find some help in the info.

The picture above looks to me as if possibly it could be mucoid plague & mucous, but I don't know. Your verbal description sounded like an Ascaris though. They can get as big as small garter snakes & have very tough exteriors. Mendomaid says that if "it" breaks apart easily it is mucous or mucoid plague, but if not it's a parasite. Have you seen the CZ photo gallery of parasites? There is one of an Ascaris that is in a jar, a real monster. I expelled at least 3 of those when parasite cleansing & had had no cuhloo they were there. The usually worthless stool testing had said I had no bugs.
