Hi Sam., it can't be permanent brain damage since it comes and goes....feeling doom much mister;) those feeling of doom and dread and negativity go hand in hand with high copper. It's a brain stimulant and can cause paranoia, doom, euphoria and anything else an amphetamine could cause
