It only means you're excreting a high amount and that there's a higher potential for being sufficient, but that does not rule out symporter problems, organification issues, or other halide interference.
Because I find the above two statements to be conflicting. Can someone please explain the logic to me?
If you're excreting a lot of iodine/iodide, then the next steps are to check for other problems as mentioned. But, if you don't have any uptake, utilization, or other problems, then you're most likely sufficient.
