Re: Update
If you have a healthy diet, I wouldn't worry too much about vitamin supplements. Your diet will provide what your body needs, save for any extra requirements from your current situation, which it sounds like you're still trying to figure out. So, I wouldn't worry about supplementing until you know more about what to supplement. A shotgun approach to supplementing (multivitamins, etc) doesn't work favorably in AF.
Five to ten
pounds loss isn't much when removing gluten, in my experience. Did you also remove dairy? I had the biggest improvement in my gut when I, not eliminated, but cut way down on the dairy. I'm not lactose intolerant, but there's something about milk that my gut doesn't like at the moment, so I don't do it too often.
I hesitate to say this for fear of projecting, but honestly, if it were my body, I'd go buy a box of Paragone and just do the capsules for a week and see if the digestion problems clear up. It could just be some gut infection that's beginning to take root.
It doesn't sound like you're too bad off compared to most w/ AF. That might not sound too reassuring going through what you're going through. But, recovery shouldn't be too far away for you. Whatever happened w/ Dr Lam and Dorine? Did they give you a list of stuff to do?
