Re: Hit a plateau in dealing with mercury/candida symptoms

Good point. I started out using a product called "Heavy Metal Cleanse" that they sold at the nearest Whole Foods, which contains 10mg of ALA, as well as chlorella and cilantro and some other stuff. I also took zinc, selenium and milk thistle to help.

Later, I stopped taking it for about 2 months, then took it again for another month, before getting off it. I continued to take zinc, selenium and milk thistle the whole time, and still take it.

For the past 3 weeks (I stopped today for the moment), I've been taking iodine. It made me lose a few pounds... before I immediately put them back on plus a few more. I decided to stop using it for a while to see if the extra weight goes away.

So right now, I'm just taking zinc, selenium and milk thistle. I don't think I can get into the "take something every 3/4 hours including at night" routine, so is there anything that else that might help?

And you've experienced the hunger and crashes too? I'm glad someone knows what I'm going through. I hate it. I mean, it HAS gotten better than it's been in the past, but if I have a small dinner, I'll need to get some extra 100s calories in there to compensate. I otherwise eat only a breakfast, lunch and dinner. (On weekends, it's lunch, afternoon extra calories, and dinner, since I wake up around 11am or noon and crash around 3-5pm)
