No, by treating it differently, I meant that it might take more alcohol than some herbs to get the best out of the resins(or whatever the proper term is!) I can only buy 80 proof vodka where I live so I buy Everclear alcohol and add some to the vodka when doing solomon's seal to bump up the alcohol to 100 or 110 proof to make sure there is enough alcohol in there.
