Solomons Seal??? Re: Tincturing and amount of vodka

Question: Do you tincture the fresh root?
I use Solomon's Seal Tincture every day and would hate to run out. From what I can gather, some people do tincture the dried root, but the fresh root gives far better results. I've tried to introduce the plant into some shaded areas of my yard with very poor results. So I've never bothered trying to tincture dried SS root, but have been buying the tincture from that lady in Oregon or Washington state.
