I have Thyroid Cancer and had a total thyroidectomy so now all of my thyroid hormones come from taking pills. I have become somewhat educated on "normal" thyroid levels. I would not have much confidence in an Endo that classifies a TSH of 6.2 as "subclinical". There is a good website called "stop the thyroid madness that discusses "subclinical" hypothyroidism and symptoms. Also on Medhelp website on the thyroid disorder forum there are moderators that are very good at thyroid lab interpretation if you post the results as well as the normal range for that lab. Having a TSH of 6.2 could cause many symptoms and I would seek another opinion. Good Luck.
