I've done Water Fasts in the past and felt great afterwards (not during!)
But now I am a little older and my body really complains a lot more. I get dull aching in my legs and find it hard to sleep. This goes away after a few days but its still disconcerting.
I am thinking of going on an extended juice fast.
I am familiar with the benefits of carrot juice, beetroot and tomato. But I was wondering if there were any other juices which are well-known for their immune system benefits during fasting?
(As I mentioned in my last post, I've had a bacterial infection called Endemic Tyhpus and I am treating it with Antibiotics , but I want to let my system heal itself too.)
