Oxidizers work by having a concentration of them in contact with the pathogen you are trying to kill for a period of time long enough to kill them.

When looking at safety and effectiveness you have to determine how you are going to get the oxidizer into contact with the pathogen, and then you can determine if the concentration needed can be handled by the body and what side effects to expect when using that chemical.

For example, if you have a blood infection and someone that is very knowledgeable with hydrogen peroxide you could inject hydrogen peroxide directly into your bloodstream and have a good chance of knocking out the infection. There most likely would be some side effects, but that is an effective way to get an oxidizer into contact with the pathogen.

If you injected Miracle-Mineral-Supplement into your bloodstream you stand a much greater chance of doing damage.

Actually ozone may be the most suitable alternative treatment, but once again the possibility of damage is great so you need someone who is very experienced with using ozone to treat you.
