Re: Tietzes Syndrome

I too had my gallbladder removed and now have sterum pain and pain on my right side. The surgeon had told my husband that he really had to move things around and that I would be quite sore. My breathing has also changed since the surgery. My breathing is just like you described shortness of breath and also like breathing with the feeling of something on your chest. I had an EKG done which was normal and they diagnosed me with possibly an ulcer or esophagitis. I'm still having the pain in my sternum off and on. I'm going to see my doctor again next Tuesday and I'm going to mention the costochondritis to her. My ribs on my right side have bothered me since the surgery and my husband can press on my ribs and boy does it hurt. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of it.
