Tietzes Syndrome

So glad I found this forum and I'm amazed at how many people suffer from this painful disease.
Here is my story, 3 weeks ago I had my Gall Bladder removed. After a harsh recovery I started to feel a shortness of breath as I began getting back into the swing of things. I was on Vicodin so did not know whether or not I had pain in the rib cage at the time...but I did feel tightness in that area. Once I started to cut back on the Vicodin, I started to notice the strange pain.
The visit to my surgeon did not produce results, nor did the visit to my family doctor. So I started to do some searching in forums and I think I found the diagnosis.
I didn't notice many people complaining of the shortness of breath nor recovering from surgery, so any input in that area would be great. I'm also curious as to what remedies have helped the situation, especially the breathing problem.
