So what is your plan? Apparently extraction comes with risks as well, but I've yet to identify exactly what. Just run into statements suggesting dangers exist. If you learn more please post.

I don't think your issues have as much to do with the crown itself, but more the process of the canal. An old CZ post which discusses, among other concerns, the material use - gutta-percha:
