What about those people who are unable to tolerate DMSA?. I'm in the UK and my doctor's don't even know what DMSA, DMPS is, let alone administer DMPS on perscription unlike the U.S. I tried the Cutler protocol for a good two months at a low dose of 25mg's but was unable to tolerate the DMSA due to candida problems in my GI tract. Cutler also uses DMPS oral for those that may not be able to tolerate DMSA, but what happens if you have gut issues like IBS or leaky gut?. The only other option open is the controversal route of IV's, and we know that Cutler doesn't agree with this method of treatment, including his followers. Talk about a catch 22 situation.
