Please Help! is this die off, or are bananas dangerous???

I’ve been on the candida diet for over two months now. First two weeks very strict then I began adding in a very small amount of fruit (strawberries/blueberries etc); outside of the initial die off period, I felt fine with no flare ups.

Last night I noticed that I’m getting a vaginal yeast infection. What the hell?

I know I probably have’t killed all the candida but I don’t understand this reaction.

Here’s what I’m taking:

ACV - I have perioral dermatitis so it’s mainly for that.

Grape Seed Extract - about 15 drops 1 to 2 times a day (if the die off is too severe I reduce the dose)

Garlic - eating 1 to 2 bulbs of fresh garlic and taking garlic oil every day.

Probiotics - one a day (25 billion)

Probable causes:

I have cheated in the past week with these vegan nut bars that are made with rice syrup. I felt crappy pretty much straight away with headaches but I just attributed to the nut bar and thought, ‘well, won’t be doing that again’.

The other thing is that I had a banana two days ago and yesterday (same period as the yeast infection started showing up).

Please tell me that the yeast infection is a reaction to the bars or the banana and not something else.

I haven’t taken any antibiotics - even though they used to give me a yeast infection every time.

I’m very frustrated because I thought I was making great progress but this feels like I haven’t really tackled the candida properly.

I understand yeast infections being a symptom of candida but when you’re treating the candida how in the world do you develop a yeast infection?

Any thoughts guys???

From what I've read sticking a garlic up there might help. Wish me luck
