I'm sorry you're scared, I understand it though so I'm gonna give you my thoughts on the matter ;-)  When you went to the doctor a couple of days ago and they gave you the cream to put on your leg, if the infection was so bad that you were in danger of losing your leg, don't you think that the doctor would have immediately admitted you to the hospital and hooked you up to an IV with antibiotics right away?  I would think that's what they would have done if they even thought you were a tiny bit in danger of losing your leg.

And then there is this:

The Ortho MD's PA-C wants me to do nothing but wash the wound in warm water & soap daily, and apply sterile bandage to it.

I would think that if they thought you were in danger of losing your leg they'd want to be doing a little more than washing the wound in warm water and soap and applying a sterile bandage to it.  I'm pretty darn sure they'd have you in the hospital!

And this:

What I really fear right now is the Ortho MD I have to see at 1:30 PM wanting me to be admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics.

You were at the doctor's office today and he sent you home.  If he thought you were in danger of losing your leg he would have admitted you to the hospital.

I think that doing some EFT might help to alleviate your fears, heck, I know it would help!  ;-)

Uny would like to know the name of the bacteria the doctor told you you have.  Also, she would like to know if you have or have you had red streaks going up your leg toward your thigh.  She's asleep right now but she'll be up later tonight or in the wee hours of the morning.

Try to stay calm Joe, do some EFT and give those precious kitties some lovin', that'll take your mind off the fear of losing your leg because if you really think about what I've said, it does make sense.  There is no way those doctors would have let you leave their office if they thought you were bad enough to lose your leg.

Get a good nights sleep, things will look better in the morning.  I'm headed there myself lol ;-)
