Re: Can anyone explain?
A major question any scientific approach should ask is - is there evidence to support the idea? Please check out the
Liver Flush survey. Furthermore click on the
recommended messages button in this forum if you want to see various anecdotes. A large collection of anecdotes essentially constitutes an observational study. Plus a few people (on the forums) have actually had these stones tested and chemically analyzed.
Many studies that disprove herbs / natural medicine are paid for and funded by drug companies, who have a vested financial interest in retaining a monopoly (a patent) on healing. Keep that in mind.
You say your
Acne is (relatively) clear now, can you pinpoint when and where major improvements occurred? I had a major improvement after one particular
Liver Flush that produced a large number of sizeable intrahepatic cholesterol stones (which are soft/fatty and do not show up on ultrasound, except perhaps as a fatty liver when there is enough of them).
I don't claim that alternative medicine has every answer, I also read the psyllium /
Bentonite experiment that indicated mucoid plaque is composed mostly of the ingested p&b. Nevertheless, it could still have some benefit, considered the chelating properties of bentonite, and it's supposed ability to pull waste from the gut.
Vaya con dios!
