Re: Has anyone had a NPD/Sociopathic parent that is wealthy and tries to ruin your life using their money?

As a survivor of an NPD parent, the one thing I have learned is to talk about the parent with other people. A weird side effect of being raised by an NPD is our code of silence concerning our abuse. It a distinct part of the abuse process to call you crazy when you recount anything that they have done to you. They also very carefully devised lies about you in their social groups to pre-empt anything you can say later about them to defend yourself. My parent told her friends that I threatened to kill her when I was a teen ager (a complete lie) so anything I could say to try and get help was nullified immediatly hence my code of silence. My advice about your dad would be to talk to a lawyer whatever the cost. Go to the police station and ask their advice. From there you can formulate a very politically correct way to approach your human resources department at work and let them know about your stalker. Talk to a close friend about it. Part of recovering from NPD is not having the fear to talk about it. If you are being stalked by a lunatic, then you are being stalked by a lunatic and you go through the legal channels.
