Re: MMS Caution
Hello Dave,
Since we are throwing challenges around, let me see if I understand your logic...
You have a health issue.
You went to the doctor.
The doctor confirmed you have a health issue and diagnosed it.
The doctor looked through his "bag of chemicals" and picked his "best guess" at one, or several that should work.
The chemicals the doctor uses have been extensively tested and almost all of the adverse side effects are known and are listed.
It is unknown if you experienced any of those side effects, but we do know that mixture of chemicals was less effective than you wanted.
You decided that you know more about your "condition" than the doctor does, and you decided to play with some other chemicals.
There are no side effects listed with the chemicals you are using because no one has tested or studied them. However, there is an indication of irregular blood chemistry and oxidative stress indicated in animal testing.
You continue using this "unknown" chemical because you see improvement in your initial condition. However, you have no idea if any other conditions are developing because there is no studies or testing on this chemical in the way you are using it, and you are not having any follow testing to screen for adverse effects.
In the morning you wake up and realize you are not dead, so all is well.
The important thing is that your quality of life has improved.
If it were me, I would knock the doctors door down and ask why you can find improvement when he couldn't. I would offer to have your doctor check you out to confirm the improvement and to check for any signs of adverse effects. I would expect not to pay for additional testing and you may have to go to something like a teaching hospital for a full evaluation.
Ingesting chemicals is all about risk verses reward. Until you understand the risks you can't make an informed decision about the rewards.
It is wonderful that you are seeing an improvement in your life. I think it would be even more wonderful if you could influence a medical professional to ponder why your chemical works so much better than the chemicals they are using.
